International Baccalaureate

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) program at Kennewick High School offers a rigorous academic curriculum for motivated students. Participants have the option to select specific IB subjects or undertake a comprehensive course load to pursue the prestigious IB Diploma. Freshmen and sophomores embark on pre-IB courses, while juniors and seniors engage in IB courses and exams.

Attaining the IB Diploma provides a valuable edge in university admissions, particularly for institutions with selective policies. Furthermore, it may be recognized as a year of college, and exemplary performance could lead to advanced placement in specific areas.
